Spring Ranges: Multiple standard spring ranges are available (e.g., 0.2-1.0 bar, 0.4-2.0 bar, etc.) to match available air supply and required thrust. Trim & Performance Trim Type: Baumann "C" Multi-Stage, Anti-Cavitation Trim. The flow path is split into multiple stages, each dissipating a portion of the pressure energy to prevent cavitation. Flow Characteristic: Modified linear or equal percentage, inherent to the multi-stage cage design. Leakage Class: ANSI Class IV (standard metal seat). ANSI Class V or VI (soft seat) is available for applications requiring tight shutoff. Noise & Cavitation Control: Significantly reduces noise (typically by 10-20 dBA) and eliminates cavitation damage compared to standard single-orifice valves. Flow Capacity Cv Range: Available in a wide range of Cv values, selected by choosing the appropriate trim size and number of stages for the specific application. Exact Cv values are determined by the trim designation (e.g., C-1, C-2, etc.). Pressure & Temperature Max Inlet Pressure: Up to ANSI Class 2500 rating (e.g., ~420 bar @ 100°F / 38°C for Class 2500). Temperature Range: Standard packing from -29°C to 232°C (-20°F to 450°F). High-temperature designs are available for services up to 538°C (1000°F). Options & Accessories Positioner: Fisher FIELDVUE DVC6200 or other pneumatic/high-performance positioners can be mounted. Limit Switches: Solenoid valves, proximity switches, and other accessories. Air Sets: Filter regulators (Type 67SR) can be mounted directly on the actuator. Packing: Standard V-ring, low-emission live-loading, or bellows seal options.
