The Fisher HSR‑CHGBLYN is a direct‑operated, spring‑loaded pressure‑reducing regulator designed for use with natural gas, manufactured gas, or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in residential, commercial or industrial applications. It utilises a cast‑iron body (globe style, with 1″ NPT inlet/outlet) and includes an internal relief valve mechanism: if the downstream pressure rises above the setpoint plus a small margin, the diaphragm shifts off the relief‑valve seat and excess gas is vented through the spring‑case vent to protect the downstream system.
