The Fisher 63EG is an electro-pneumatic positioner designed to precisely position the stem of a pneumatic control valve based on a standard analog input signal (4-20 mA or 10-50 mA). It functions as a dedicated I/P (Current-to-Pressure) transducer and position controller in one unit. The positioner compares the valve's actual stem position (via a mechanical feedback linkage) with the commanded signal from the control system and automatically adjusts the pneumatic output to the actuator to correct any error. The 63EG is known for its high gain, providing fast and accurate valve positioning for demanding control applications.
