Pressure Drop Capability Capable of handling very high pressure drops, often in excess of 1500 psi (100 bar) in a single valve. Flow Characteristic Modified linear or equal percentage. Leakage Class With Metal Seat: ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class IV. With Soft Seat: ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class VI. Flow Capacity (Cv) Defined by the specific trim part number. Both BLE and BLX offer a range of Cv values for a given valve size, but the BLX generally provides a higher Cv for a similar level of attenuation. Noise Reduction Can achieve noise reduction of 15 dBA or more compared to standard single-stage trim. Temperature Limits Limited by the valve body rating, typically up to ~800°F (~425°C).
