The ABB AF400‑30‑11 is a three‑pole AC contactor designed for heavy industrial motor control and power switching applications. It belongs to ABB’s AF contactor series with an electronically controlled coil that supports a wide control voltage range (100 – 250 V AC or DC), making it suitable for global installations without needing coil changes. The contactor is used to switch three‑phase motors, isolation and bypass circuits, and other industrial loads up to high voltages. It includes three normally open main contacts for the power circuit and one normally open plus one normally closed auxiliary contact for control, signaling, and interlocking functions. The block‑type design is robust and can be extended with auxiliary contact blocks and other accessories.
