The ABB 2TLA020070R4700 is a compact safety‑PLC controller (Pluto S20 v2) designed for machine and system safety applications. It accepts multiple safety device inputs (e.g. emergency‑stop buttons, safety switches, light curtains, safety mats, interlocks, gates/doors, enabling devices, etc.) and evaluates them according to safety logic to control safety outputs. It offers a mix of failsafe relay and transistor outputs plus configurable I/O, enabling flexible and powerful safety‑circuit design. Its programming and configuration are done via dedicated software, making it suitable for small to medium safety systems. The module is DIN‑rail mountable and sized for efficient installation in control enclosures.
