CT-ARE

The ABB CT‑ARE is a compact, single‑function electronic time relay from ABB’s CT‑E timer range. It provides a true OFF‑delay (delay‑on‑break) function: when the control supply voltage is removed, the relay keeps its output energized for a preset delay time, then de‑energizes. It does not require a separate auxiliary supply — timing works directly based on the control supply voltage applied to its input. With simple adjustment of the delay time via a thumbwheel, and a straightforward 1 change‑over (SPDT) output, CT‑ARE is designed for cost‑efficient, reliable timing tasks in control panels, automation systems, motor control, lighting control, or sequential switching circuits. The device is slim (22.5 mm wide), DIN‑rail mountable, and features a front‑panel LED to indicate supply status.
