The ABB AF2050-30 is a heavy-duty, 3-phase (3-pole) block-type power contactor designed for high-current, high-power industrial applications. It belongs to ABB’s large-contact AF series, optimized for demanding loads such as large motors, generators, heavy distribution circuits, or industrial switchgear. The contactor is built with an electronic wide-range coil allowing operation with AC or DC control voltages (100–250 V), and includes surge-protection capabilities — making it suitable even in networks with unstable supply or voltage dips. Its robust construction supports reliable isolation, bypass, distribution, or motor-control tasks up to 1000 V.
