The Yokogawa UR1AG3-100N-6KD-2TA-N is a highly versatile Dual-channel, Isolated Universal Analog Input Module designed for the ProSafe-RS Safety Instrumented System (SIS).
This module serves as a flexible and high-integrity interface between a wide array of analog field instruments and the safety controller. Its primary function is to receive analog signals, provide signal conditioning and electrical isolation, and convert the input into a precise digital value. The key feature of this module is its software-selectable input type, indicated by the 6KD code. This allows each channel to be configured to accept signals from 3-wire Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) like Pt100, or standard 4-20 mA DC current signals, without any hardware changes. This makes it ideal for critical temperature and analog process variable monitoring.
