Parameter Category Specification for EJA110 Series
Model Number EJA110 (Base model, requires suffix codes for full specification)
Product Name Differential Pressure Transmitter
Sensor Technology Silicon Resonant Sensor. A single-crystal silicon sensor vibrates at a natural frequency. Applied pressure changes this frequency, which is detected and converted into an extremely precise digital signal.
Measurement Range Defined by suffix code (e.g., EJA110-*):
• L: 0.5 to 10 kPa (2 to 40 inH₂O)
• M: 1 to 100 kPa (4 to 400 inH₂O)
• H: 5 to 500 kPa (20 to 2000 inH₂O)
• V: 0.14 to 14 MPa (20 to 2000 psi)
Output Signal • Analog: 4 to 20 mA DC, 2-wire system.
• Digital: BRAIN or HART® protocol (FSK) superimposed on the analog signal.
Power Supply Loop-powered.
• Operating Voltage: 10.5 to 42 V DC (Standard, includes HART)
• Load Resistance: 0 to 1375 Ω (at 42 V DC)
Accuracy ±0.075% of calibrated span (for ranges ≥ 3 kPa). This is a best-in-class accuracy.
Long-Term Stability ±0.1% of URL per 10 years (for URL ≥ 3 kPa), drastically reducing calibration needs.
Temperature Effect ±0.15% of URL per 10°C (combined effect on zero and span).
Static Pressure Effect ±0.2% of URL per 7 MPa (1000 psi) (for zero). Negligible effect on span.
Process Connection • Standard: 1/4" NPT female (for both high and low sides).
• Alternatives: 1/2" NPT, ANSI/DIN flanges (specified by suffix code).
Electrical Connection • 1/2" NPT conduit connection.
• Plug-in terminal block for easy wiring.
Materials of Construction • Wetted Parts: Varies by suffix code. Options include 316L SST, Hastelloy C-276, Monel, Tantalum.
• Housing: Aluminum die-cast with epoxy coating.
Display (Optional) • Local Indicator: Integral or remote mount LCD display (shows pressure, %, or engineering units).
Ambient Temperature • -40 to 85°C (-40 to 185°F)
Process Temperature • -40 to 120°C (-40 to 248°F) (for general purpose)
