The Yokogawa PX8000 is a high-end, portable optical spectrum analyzer (OSA). It is designed to bridge the gap between the performance of benchtop OSAs and the convenience of field portability. This instrument is engineered for field installation, maintenance, and commissioning of modern dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) networks, as well as for use in lab environments where mobility is required.
